My grandmother's church in Niceville, Florida is a glistening example of venustas. Christ Our Redeemer Church has a very open feel, allowing for excellent acoustics for the choir. The front of the church is on a raised platform, putting God above everything. The plentiful and large windows allow lots of natural light in.
This grievous insult to utilitas is the McKee restroom. The doors on the left side are particular obnoxious as you can't walk into the stall without closing the doors, walking past, and opening them again. A true architectural blunder, the handicap stalls are placed at the BACK of this infernal hallway of doors, forcing those who have the most difficulty to have to struggle to close doors on opposing sides to get through while already dealing with crutches or wheelchairs.
The Moe's on campus possesses startlingly bad manners. The restaurant itself juts out, and has two glass doors on either side. At first, this implies that they are entranceways, but neither of them are; they are only exits. The true entrance to Moe's requires one to venture a little further and see it tucked away behind the main building, and set further back.
