My house was designed by Frank Ging, a student of Frank Lloyd Wright. It is a fairly unique house, with the most striking aspect being that it is in the shape of a donut from the top down. The hole in the middle is for a courtyard (pictured in the lower 2 of the 4 pictures). There is a furnace and checkered floor of concrete and wood, and the rim of the courtyard is made of dirt for the planting of an interior garden. I would say the building was built with children in mind, as the circular shape means that one can run continuously through the house without any obstacles. Bedrooms are placed more towards the back of the house, with the important dining and living rooms at the very front. The living room has a very open space, especially compared with the rest of the house.
